Xeno Tactic 2 - Tower Defense Game

Xeno Tactic is back. Nowe Reginald continue in his successful game Xeno Tactic. Excellent sound effects and nice graphics, with good playability that all is Xeno Tactic 2 - Vehicles Invasion.

I criticized first version of Xeno Tactic, that it is similar to Desktop TD game. Second version of game is from another side. You can play 6 missions. Every mission is enabled, only after finishing previous one. It means hours and hours of a fun time. Enemies are going in more ways on the map. You can build walls and give enemies only one way on the map. It is main strategy for all maps in game. You can build these weapons in game:
  • SAM Turret has medium speed, medium damage and wide range. It is suitable only for ground units.
  • Vulcan Turret is the cheapest one, with good speed, medium damage and medium range. It is suitable only for ground units.
  • Laser Beam has medium damage, low speed and good range. It is suitable only for ground units.
  • Plasma Canon is the most expensive weapon in game and has medium speed, high splash damage and wide range. It is suitable only for ground units.
  • UV Turret has high splash damage, low speed and low range. It is suitable only for ground units.
  • Devastator has high damage, medium speed and medium range. It has multi hit ability and it is suitable only for ground units.
  • Dissipator has low damage, medium speed and medium range. It is suitable for ground and air units.
  • Frost Turret has low damage, high speed and wide range. It slows air and ground units.
  • Sky Beam has medium damage, medium speed and wide range. It is very good weapon to attack air units.
  • Walls are useful for blocking some ways.
All weapons has very good system of upgrading. You can upgrade them 10 times, and you can choose features, you want to upgrade. It is very good system, in my opinion, because you can create weapons, with features, that you need. Turrets can also be sold. There are some air attacks in the game. Air enemies don't follow ways, and they are going from up to down. It is good to create special defense anti air attacks. I am now playing mission 2, and I must say it is difficult game. Game has standard game engine. Playability of game is very good.

I recommend Xeno Tactic 2 for all tower defense maniacs. I am sure, that you will like this game similar like me. I am giving this game 8.0 from 10 points.

Yah this is a difficult game. Or maybe im really bad at it. Either way Ive tried the second level at least 80 times and no matter what I cant beat it. Does anyone have any tips?

I love this game! But I just can´t seem to get past level 5.
level 2 is pretty easy once you get the right tac down. Start off by building the devestator and uppgrade it as soon as you get money. Add on with lasers when you get the chance and those turrets that slow things down. Very general advise, but the devestator really is the key.

The game play of these series are quite pathetically designed.

Do not expect creativity or new TD outlets...

Cheap tactics just to catch you unawares and force multiple replays.

Better than part 1 though, which has no incremental difficulty design involved. Part 1 was essentially ripped from other TD games and given new, albeit nicer, graphics and forced hard modes just to entice the "hardcore" players.
They do not realise that HC players like logical and creative ways to build their towers, maze, combos etc and not just farked up forced mazing.

Part 2 removes the need for mazing, with better, but OP, upgrades. After a while, its just mindless upgrades and catching stupid flight paths.

4 out of 10, and I am in a generous mood.

Yes, you need a variety of turrets. Start out with upgraded vulcans at the bottom. Use blocks block of the path and force the ships to go down then up and take a very long path to reach the exit. Use devestator & plasma cannon - upgrade to max. Use lots of "slow down" turrets. Don't nigelct your air defenses - these need to be maxed. Use a dissapator early in path to remove enemy shield. Also use disapptors near top to help with air. See youtube videos on this. After wave 39, sell all air turrets and spend the cash on ground forces.
